Glance at Medical Applications of Nanotechnology
The College of Health and Medical Technologies held a Seminar in which Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Hameed gave a presentation on some of the medical applications that deal with the applications of nanotechnology, including these important medical applications of human tissue engineering, Drug development, pharmaceutical industry, diagnosis and treatment of cancerous diseases without affecting healthy tissues or with very little effect, as well as improving performance in surgical operations and other useful applications such as making artificial blood cells that can transport oxygen in quantities more than 230 times more than natural cells, and can improve drug delivery to the parts of the brain. There are other areas that are too numerous to mention.
