On the occasion of the National Afforestation Day in Iraq, the Faculty of Pharmacy held a scientific seminar entitled “Sustainable Development and Afforestation in Iraq” under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Munir Hameed Al-Saadi and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Raad Abdulbaqi.
on sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in conjunction with Iraq’s Afforestation Day (March 12).
The seminar included the contribution of the deans, teachers and students of the College of Pharmacy to create awareness posters on sustainable development and its goals achieved by afforestation and arable plants in Iraq, with the participation of students planting trees on campus, contributing to creating a greener environment and a more sustainable future.
