Under the patronage of the President of Al-Naji University, Prof. Dr. Munir Hameed Al-Saadi, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Naji University organized a scientific seminar entitled “Microbial Contamination in Hospitals”, lectured by Dr. Ibrahim Ismail Shahad, a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The seminar aimed to provide a detailed explanation of the phenomenon of microbial contamination in hospitals, as it has a significant impact on the health reality of individuals and society, as well as its negative repercussions on the efficiency of the health system in general. Hospitals are considered one of the main pillars of the health system, as they provide a safe environment for patients, workers and their families, which makes maintaining their cleanliness and combating contamination very important.
The lecturer also touched on the most prominent causes of bacterial contamination within hospitals, reviewing a set of practical solutions and recommendations to reduce this phenomenon, with the aim of improving the level of health care and ensuring a safe treatment environment.
