Within the project of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in supporting and developing scientific research in Iraqi universities, and in cooperation with Clarivate Analytics, Al-Naji University was able to activate its official accounts in the Web of Science platform, after completing all the necessary technical and administrative procedures, as it was officially activated on Friday, 5/23/2025.
This achievement is considered a qualitative leap in the march of Al-Naji University, as it enables researchers and students to access the latest global scientific sources and enhance their capabilities in the fields of research and discovery.
This step is expected to achieve a set of important scientific goals, most notably:
1- Providing tools to discover knowledge and identify modern research trends, with the possibility of identifying opportunities for local and international scientific cooperation.
2- Providing researchers and students with reliable and internationally accredited scientific sources.
3- Enhancing the academic reputation of the university at the regional and international levels.
4- Creating an attractive research environment that attracts distinguished researchers and ambitious students from inside and outside Iraq.
In order to make the most of this scientific platform, Al-Naji University will organize a series of workshops and training courses for researchers, university affiliates, and students to develop their skills in using Web of Science and promote the culture of scientific research based on accredited sources.
