To promote academic excellence and keep pace with global technological developments…
The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Naji University, held a comprehensive scientific workshop titled “3D Printing and Its Engineering Applications.”
The workshop focused on additive manufacturing technology and the role of artificial intelligence in improving design and production processes, which directly contributes to developing the skills of students in the College of Engineering—particularly those in the departments of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, and Computer Engineering—and preparing them for the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, in line with global academic accreditation standards (ABET).
The workshop was attended by a number of students from the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, as well as students from the Departments of Computer Engineering and Cybersecurity Engineering, and several faculty members. During the workshop, Prof. Bassim Hafiz from the College of Engineering at University of Baghdad, delivered a valuable lecture that included practical examples, models, and objects manufactured using 3D printers
. We thank all the organizers and participants for the success of this unique event, which reflects the vitality of our field and our university’s passion for continuous innovation.
