Al-Naji University College of Pharmacy Welcomes Delegation from Wadi Al-Rafidain Pharmaceutical Company and Shifa Foundation, Signs Cooperation Protocols
The College of Pharmacy at Al-Naji University welcomed a delegation from Wadi Al-Rafidain Pharmaceutical Company, led by Pharmacist Mohammed Mousa Mohammed, Managing Director of the company, accompanied by representatives of the Shifa Foundation for Diabetes Care, on Tuesday, 14 July.
The delegation was received by Professor Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, President of Al-Naji University; Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Raad Abdulbaqi, Dean of the College of Pharmacy; Dr. Ibrahim Shahad, Administrative Assistant Dean; along with a number of faculty members and academic staff.
During the visit, the two sides signed cooperation protocols aimed at establishing a long-term partnership in scientific, educational, and professional fields. They also agreed to implement joint programs that promote knowledge exchange, strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, and support the advancement of Iraq’s pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to building strategic partnerships between academic institutions, the pharmaceutical industry, and civil society organizations. Such collaborations play a vital role in enhancing professional competencies, improving the quality of education and training, fostering scientific research, and supporting sustainable development goals while contributing to the advancement of Iraq’s healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its sincere appreciation to the Presidency of Al-Naji University, the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy, and all faculty and staff members for their warm hospitality and excellent reception. The delegation also wished the University continued success and excellence in its academic and scientific endeavors.
