We were honored at Al-Naji University to host a high-level delegation from Wuhan University (China), led by the distinguished Professor Xuzhu Dong, Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation. This marks Professor Dong’s first visit to Baghdad, signifying a pivotal moment for international academic collaboration in Iraq.
A Meeting of Minds The delegation held a strategic meeting with our University President, Prof. Moneer Hameed Tolephih Al-Saadi, and the Council of our Faculty of Engineering. Discussions focused on bridging the gap between local and international academia across critical modern disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering.
Empowering Our Students During his lecture to our students, Professor Dong expressed his admiration for the academic atmosphere at Al-Naji University, noting that our students are “full of hope” and possess “high energy and great passion” for learning. The visit concluded with a shared vision for the future, where Professor Dong expressed his strong hope to see Al-Naji University students visiting the Wuhan University campus soon.
